Robotica U.T.N Parana: The Organization
How many people are organizing this year's Robotica
U.T.N Parana, and what is their professional
background?
The group, who is currently made this years event, contains five
engineering students and two faculty members, both Electronic
Engineers
When did they started to plan this year's robot venue,
and is their some slightly differences in the content, compared
with earlier venues you have held?
The preparation started in April this year, so we can make the
best possible arrangement. Compared to other places where similary
competition is held, ours has become a public event, in which
people from all ages attend; from toddlers to seniors, with or
without knowledge in electronics. All in all it generates a very
nice family atmosphere, and makes the competitors and the public
wants to return to the venue next year.
What is the organizing group's goal for this year's
venue?
The aim of this years venue for the group is to increase the
number of participants and audience compared to last year, where
there were 50 robots and 450 visitors, and to strengthen the ties
to the educational institutions. But it is not just a matter of
fact that we wants as many participants as possible, we would also
like to provide a better show every time, plus sharing knowledge
and advances in the electronic development.
How can people get in touch with you, if they want to be
a part of the venue, and does it cost something to
participate?
People who is interested in participating in the competitions, or
who wants to come as a visitor, please:
a) visit our website: http://www.roboticautnparana.com.ar, or
b) send an email to roboticautnparana@gmail.com, or
c) visit our facebookpage: Grupo de Robótica UTN FRP
(On our facebookpage we have internalized the place in which the event takes place, plus the time scheme of the competitions on the 17th and the seminar on the 16th).
