Top 5 Robots: Mindreading Martinimaker by Chris Veigl
In this article you can read more on the Mindreading Martinimaker by Chris Veigl, which Magnus Wurzer lists next among the five most memorable cocktail robot of all time.
Mindreading Martinimaker:
"It's the Mindreading Martinimaker I am talking about, or Mindtini
shortened. It's a rather nifty machine that includes a unique new
way to mix the components of a Martini. It's a bowl with ice in it
where the two ingredients are slowly coming through, dripping
through the ice, so the result is chilled and little watery. It's
neither shaken, not sturd, but it works. So that's a new method and
it produces a perfectly good Martini. And the real reason why
this is one of the greatest cocktail robot in my mind is that the
dryness, the strength of the drink is determined by your own
brainwaves. So your EEG is taken, and the more alpha-waves you've
got in your EEG's the stronger the drink is".
"Explanation: Alpha-waves are a range of the brainwave spectrum which is targeted often in bio-feedback and neuro-bio-feedback because it's a relaxed and at same time awake state of mind. This is positive reinforcement or biofeedback for adults. The more alpha you produce, the more alcohol you get in your Martini".
